Mount Vernon Presbyterian School offers financial aid based solely on need. The School subscribes to the AAAIS Financial Aid Policy as well as the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) which requires all interested families to submit specific financial information to determine eligibility. Information and applications are on the School and Student Service for Financial Aid website. For consideration for the 2013-14 school year, you must:
- Submit all requested forms and applications to SSS by March 1, 2013.
- Submit a copy of your last two years’ Federal Income Tax Returns, including Schedules, to SSS by March 1, 2013.
Final determination of financial aid dollars rests with the School and is subject to the availability of funds and number of financial aid applicants. Notification of award is sent when applicant is offered an opportunity to enroll.
If you have any questions regarding financial aid, or to apply for financial aid after the deadline, please contact CFO Bruce Morine at 404-252-3448 ext. 2257, or firstname.lastname@example.org
AAAIS Financial Aid Policies
Each candidate for admission will be required to give adequate documentation of family financial resources in order to be considered for financial aid. All financial aid awards are based only on need. AAAIS schools do not give financial awards to applicants for any reason other than demonstrated need, and awards do not exceed that need. AAAIS prohibits the use of scholarships for academic, athletic, or artistic merit or talent as recruitment tools. Financial aid applicants will be notified in writing no sooner than the time of parent notification of admission status. Financial aid applications are confidential.
