• You do not have to wait until you have visited us to apply. The earlier you apply, the better we can get to know you and share what is remarkable about Mount Vernon. Applications for 2012-13 will be accepted beginning in October.  Apply Online Now.  

Get to Know Us

• Once you have applied, your child may opt to schedule a shadow day (or half day) at your convenience.  Shadow days are an excellent way to experience first-hand life as a Mount Vernon student.
• You will receive monthly email updates highlighting current events and programs at the School. We encourage you to attend and participate in some of the events related to academics, arts, and athletics.
• You may receive a call from one of our current families or a note from one of our faculty or student leaders.

Complete the File

• Once all of the required items have been received and completed, your child’s full application file will be reviewed by our admissions committee for a decision. The admissions committee will not consider files that are incomplete.
