The college counseling department is devoted to recognizing the uniqueness of each student and serving their individual needs. As part of college guidance, we enable students to assess their potential and performance, encouraging them to develop their academic abilities as well as their interests, talents, and passions. We provide guidance in proper course selection with an awareness of the importance of rigor and challenge, involvement in our variety of extra-curricular offerings at school, and active service in the community.
Today, the college search is daunting and can be a source of stress and confusion. The selection process is more competitive than ever before; however, with an organized and carefully planned approach, finding the right college fit can be a positive, enjoyable experience. Our counseling services program is designed to help students and their families navigate through the college search process. Use of and reference to our handbook, resources, calendars, and timelines will create a better understanding of and security in the overall process.
