Intentionally keeping our class sizes small and adhering to low teacher-child ratios set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), we strive to give children more small group and individualized learning experiences that foster their self-esteem and challenge them to be confident learners.
We also work to build home-school partnerships that are collaborative, trusting, and respectful. Teachers utilize various online tools that allow parents a comprehensive window into our preschool day. Parents and faculty regularly communicate through frequent interactions, open houses, parent/teacher conferences, and Parent University offerings. Getting to know the values and cultures within families helps nurture the home-school relationship and contributes to the child’s self-esteem.
MICHELLE ERLING | PRESCHOOL ART & SPANISH TEACHER
"I am delighted to be around these children whose perspective on life and art remains so honest and unfiltered. Committed to creating an authentic learning environment, I look for inspiration everywhere, every day. When I visit a museum, explore a city, or a attend a concert, I think of how I can incorporate that experience into the classroom."
